Discovery Education Streaming - Username and password on Destiny home page. Search in the search box, and under the "Media" pull-down menu, click on "Video Segment." Once you locate a video that you want to use, click on the disk icon next to the description to download it. Click on the citations tab on the right to copy and paste the citation.
Access the clips through C-SPAN's Video Library Search in the search box. Use as many specific keywords as possible. Scroll down to "Program Results," and sort by "Most Recent" on the right.
Find a piece of a clip that you plan to incorporate into your video. Clips should be no longer than 30 seconds AT MOST.
You may select more than one short clip if you like.
To "download" the video clip you select, you'll use a flip camera to videotape the computer screen as it is playing. Now that's high-tech! Make sure the video's volume is as high as possible, and try to hold the camera steady as you film.
WHAT NEEDS TO BE CITED?
C-SPAN video, interviews that you conduct, images, music files, sources of information such as facts and statistics.
